Zoe Violin and Ensemble

Zoe has been studying the violin for over 20 years. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance from the College of Charleston where she studied under Charleston Symphony Concertmaster, Yuriy Bekker. She then continued her education in Arizona, receiving a Masters of Music Degree in Violin from Northern Arizona University. Zoe was recipient of the Gates-Taylor Award by the NAU School of Music and received the Mary Stewart Allen Award for Violin and Most Outstanding Music Award by the CofC School of the Arts. She has been selected as a soloist and chamber musician for the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Charleston Chamber Music Festival and the renowned Zodiacal Music Festival in Southern France. Currently, Zoe plays actively in the Charleston and Southeast area as a violinist for the North Charleston POPS Orchestra, Beaufort Symphony, Florence Symphony, Augusta Symphony and more. She frequently plays several in wedding ensembles as a soloist and chamber musician.
