Music has been at the core of this singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist all his life. Eric Vaughn is a Sumter, South Caroina native who began his musical journey picking up instruments at a young age. As a singer and instrumentalist, Eric has traveled Europe and much of the US performing on NBC’s Today Show, BBC Television, and at venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and the Giant’s Stadium to name a few.
Eric received his BA in Music Education from The University of South Carolina in 2004 and later relocated to Charleston, SC. After teaching music and drama in the public school system, Eric opened a Charleston-based music academy offering music instruction on all instruments.
Today, Eric enjoys performing all genres of music from Rock and Blues to Funk and Soul both as a solo musician and as a band leader. Eric specializes in private and corporate events and is highly sought after as a solo acoustic musician. He performs regularly in Charleston and surrounding cities and is currently working on his original music project.
Eric believes the best way to genuinely connect with his audience is by igniting emotions through raw, authentic, and powerful songs and performances.
